However, there is a way for you to get some market goods this Sunday. The Bread & Butter online shop has restarted. This Sunday it will mainly be Bread & Butter goods, plus some of George’s vegetables. This week the range is limited because of the short notice. If we need to be closed for more Sundays more goods will be added.
I recommend that you book soon. To enable pick up this Sunday (16 August), of George’s vege, you need to book by 2pm tomorrow (Friday 14 August).
Below are the specific details:
How the Bread & Butter Bakery webshop works:
All Bread & Butter products are available to order online. This means: sourdough breads, pastries, flour, cereals, biscuits and more. Cut-off time for the next day is 2 pm the previous day (except a couple of sourdoughs like the Ancient Grain and Quinoa, which need to be ordered 2 days ahead).
Fresh produce boxes from George’s Garden are available in small and medium-size. Cut off time for the veggie boxes is Friday 2 pm.
Please go to:
Please place your order before 2 pm on Friday.
If you are ordering veggie boxes, please select PICK-UP and come to Bread & Butter Bakery and Café, 3/34 Westmoreland Street (off Richmond Rd, next to Farro) between 10 am – 2 pm on Sunday the 16th.
Please indicate on the notes on your order, what time you will be picking up. Please give a half-hour interval, so we can organize orders for quick processing and no long queues need to form outside our premises.
Because the Grey Lynn Farmers Market that is closed this weekend, we were wanting to offer the ability to get your fresh produce again and thus continue to support the growers and producers you love. Unfortunately, the sudden lockdown has caught several producers and growers by surprise, too short a time-frame to switch to a different system by this weekend. However, should we stay in level 3 for longer, we will aim to offer more fresh produce and other products by next week. We are also trying to work out a system, by which we can deliver, or you can pick up orders all throughout the week. Please stay tuned for further information or check out the Bread & Butter Bakery social media pages.
